At Tate Britain I founded Tate Forum and Loud Tate, the gallery's first peer-led programme for young people aged 13–24. The programme invited young Londoners into institutional conversations, supporting them to have an active role in shaping projects, events and critical debate within the gallery.
Through the annual Loud Tate festival and commissions with artists including Barbie Asante, Lucy Gunning, Emma Hart, Raksha Patel and Zineb Sedira, the programme placed artists at the centre of an institutional approach — exploring how ideas of Britishness circulate through art and culture, and how these narratives shift when approached through the perspectives and experiences of young people living in London.
